Our activities are quite comprehensive and we try to avoid creating knowledge silos allocated to management subjects, as this eventually interferes or limits the research and the innovation approach. Nevertheless, each assignment follows a similar research pattern:
The research scope as well as the project period vary and are subject to the assignment of the project sponsor. Our main objective is simple: The more focused the research question is formalised, the more meaningful the findings and conclusion will be. We thereby encourage to ask rather "why" instead of "what", as understanding the what of competitiveness is basically a requirement for catching up, i.e. "compete on time" become "customer-led", strive for "six-sigma", "process reengineering" etc. The "why of competitiveness" for example is aspiring for getting ahead, up to industry restructuring or company transformations.
