One of our most interactive and demanding project is “The ∞ Learning…” seminar. According to Honey & Mumford (1985) learning has happened when people can demonstrate that they know something they didn’t know before (insights/facts) or when they can do something they couldn’t do before (skills).
During the half-day seminar we outline the learning process and exercise various stages to sensitize self-awareness, eventually the gift of conscious choice. There are some models and concepts which help to identify learning patterns and to develop the interplay with other individuals in order to overcome arbitrariness and bias. Although the approach is usually conducted within a team, the detailed findings and conclusions remain personal and do not need to be disclosed. The main objectives of the seminar are:
Allow time for personal and group self-reflection
Sharpen personal profile and strengthen (team) communication skills
Overcome existing hurdles and re-define team objectives and expectations
Inspiring life-long learning
